Born into a musical family, Ann Majerus started playing the violin at the age of six at the Conservatoire du Nord of her home country Luxembourg. She felt from a very young on, that her passion for music would not just stay a hobby, and continued her musical education with violin performance studies at the Conservatorium Maastricht where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in 2014. Next to her studies she has been active as a member of the European Union Youth Orchestra, was an intern at the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra and performed numerous times as a soloist in Luxembourg, Switzerland, Germany and the UK. Ann is also a member of The Freestyle Orchestra, who adresses a broader audience through combining high quality classical music to acrobatics and circus art. Before moving to Vienna for her Chamber Music studies at the University for Music and Performing Arts in 2015, Ann volunteerd as a violin teacher at the Dho Countries Music Academy in Zanzibar/Tanzania. Since August 2017, Ann is the concertmaster and coach of the Annapurna Chamber Orchestra in Kathmandu, Nepal.
